yesterday we camped out at lolly's most of the day and enjoyed our long awaited visit.... the boys were pumped to go over and lolly was seemed excited to see them too. we usually spend days and boys spend nights too but since lolly's back has been acting up, we have kept the boys at bay in hopes of some good rest....but between us i think lolly does better when they are in her sight.... when we got there the birthday boy peeked and found a gift (he called big daddy to make sure it was okay to open, he didn't answer so lolly assumed it was fine)
lolly said big daddy had too much fun putting this together and adding stickers!!!! (YES, we did have one of these and it was "borrowed" during one of the first auburn games so big daddy delivered a new one! with AU stickers none-the-less)
these too were awaiting the monkey.... he has begged for a skateboard for some time. can he ride it? NO. is he the happiest boy on the block? check. check. and if you could have seen his face when he opened the box, it was priceless.... he continued to say "oh, lolly how did you know? it is just what i have always wanted" (she knew because he told her over and over and over again)
these above are intended to go with the bike and things above. DaddyO ask if i was going to inforce this rule..... the jury is still out! you see while doing my best to contain my little hornet and holding the sweetest baby ever.... putting helmet, pads on and off and on and off and back on, is NOT fun or easy! so we will see but we will start off on a good note (i think of making the monkey wear it)
Monkey was still so excited this morning he had to call and say thank you again, oh and not to let his cousin see the cupcakes before the party? who knows..... lolly is making the cupcakes for today.
UPDATES on lolly: its a insurance issue.... working that out and waiting on cat scan and surgery....hanging in there best she can!
