ONE is NOT.....

the LONELIEST number at all.... UNLESS you are speaking in terms of BALLOONS, then it is FOR SURE  lonely...

But in this case... it was a ONE YEAR OLD's BIRTHDAY!!!  sniff. sniff. my baby is already ONE. oh and just for the record, the above picture IS NOT his birthday, just another one i love with balloons!
We started HIS day out with what he loves BEST, FOOD.....and then quickly jumped in the shower, called my monkey's friend he insisted on taking along (and that was more than fine with me....) B-LINED to the closest store to find this baby some "soft" shoes.... he was NOT a fan of the hard keds, give us time. And loaded up for a morning/afternoon day at a cookoff that our daddyc took to at about 6 am.  Yes, that is right, on his baby's first birthday.... SUCH A THIRD CHILD HE IS.... don't tell him though, i don't think he even noticed! A good of good friend had me a front row parking spot saved...and for that i am forever grateful!  We loved our people watching, eventful day but as mamas do, i was a little crazy keeping up with all 4 boys in the crowds of 6,000 people.....
i think they really did have fun? look at how banged up they are, scratched nose, busted eye....

monkey LOVES a band and the balloon, well, that was just a bonus!

and the grill cheese and quesadillas, well, those were a BONUS for me.... lunch at ease! score.  those chili-cookoff-ers are getting GOOD!

AND the popsicles are a HUGE bonus for the biggest babies... Monkey had to beg his mimi for those.... beg is hardly the word for it.... I think he looked the way of the ice cream truck and mimi handed out.  Our mimi is like that.  SPOILS THEM ROTTEN, gives into ANYTHING!  thanks x THREE mimi.

and for a quick break from the biggest crowd to a just "BIG" crowd, we headed to the playground!

look at those chubby cherub's LEGS.... i want to squeeze them or eat them one!

amd moving RIGHT along into a better birthday mode.... we picked up the cake.... i loved it, i knew i would, thats why i have a one stop shop in cake peeps!

and ONE to call HIS OWN...
i would love to write, he LOVED it...but uncle chris said he ate one too many twice baked potatoes and was STUFFED.... but he took a bite at least!

and the hat and bib our lolly bought for our biggest baby FOUR short years ago.... that was our LAST time to wear them... sniff sniff... I think i will save them though?  Lolly could NOT come at the risk of catching some of the babies snotty-ness but i KNOW there was no where she would rather be, holding, laughing, cooking, cleaning, and just down right PLAYING with her babies.  we are on the countdown for that 6 weeks and we can't WAIT!!!!  we have hopes that after chemo, we will get our lolly back to strong and playing.

and our favors....

i wanna say his middle brother enjoyed them a wee bit!!! yes, that is right, he is ON TOP of the counter AGAIN.....

our God-daughter joined us... And i like that God gave us this angel as a daughter.... she is SO MUCH fun to have around and lucky for all of us, she lives two doors down and we see her smiling face often!

and OF COURSE my princess-esk nieces came too.  Well, 3 outta 4 anyway.... The boys love, love, love playing with the girls and can't get enough.....

i think this pumpkin LOVES a cozy coupe car too.

oh and lulu belle, she just was happy to be there!

the riding toy was a gift and he LOVES it more than words....it has a bright future by all three boys for sure.

i got the chance to push these rascals in the swing...lucky for me i brought my wine and it too made the picture....

safe to say my littlest lamb was over the moon to see his big daddy waltz in and loves to play peek a boo with big daddy's hat

the laughter is ENDLESS with this game!

lined up for cake.... one of my boys drinking a diet coke already dressed himself in jammies and my other child pictured is sucking on his lamb.... would you say WE ARE SLEEPY?

wHAT makes you say THAT? i think he looks raring to GO....

oh how i love having girls in the house.

Let the SINGING begin

what do you mean he was scared?  i think he was smiling somewhere down deep.....

perhaps if the string on his hat wasn't so tight or if his mommy would NOT have gotten a sparkler for a candle that shoots sparks EVERYWHERE....

but on the other side of the room, he flirted like mad with his cousin....

she seemed to be a little concerned he was going to HURT himself..... Its okay lu, he likes to flirt like this? who knows??

i have one child who TAKES off when his clothes come off.... he will LOVE spring and summer clothes no dout.  I did manage to tackle him and put him in a diaper and his jammies....short sleeve no less.

and he didn't mind...its more about the chase with this little guy.

lucky for my lil' lamb he has two big brothers to help unwrap presents....and a steering wheel PERFECT!  someone must know his love to drive a car..... (lolly & big daddy)

while he managed to do what he loves best, cuddle with the dogs.

ALL IN ALL, my littlest lamb TURNED ONE.... he had a great day ( i hope) no crying so i think thats a yes.  I can't believe he is one already and more than that i can't wait to watch him grow (just not too fast i hope)  We love you whitmore!
