it is So HOT in my parts of the deep south..... We ended up at the pool again yesterday and most likely today too.... AND with the help of a friend i rallied, as she says, and mustered up the energy to shower and get "dressed" late afternoon (there is a concept i have NOT applied in almost a month) and headed downtown for some nice GOOD cold cocktails with some GREAT friends...... i was glad i did and the boys were glad to see their big daddy too! I am out of "cool" ideas when the heat index gets to 110 degrees...
but i have a WONDERFUL plan for tomorrow.... INSIDE all morning ALONE at a SPA no less.... Thank you in advance Mimi for keeping the wild indians!!! thank you nice spa peeps for allowing me time with less than 24 hours notice... that tends to be the way i roll these days....last minute!
I am counting the seconds.....
but until then, i will go sweat it out playing with the boys...
Daddyc ask me "so what did YOU do at the pool?"
me: "what do you mean? its 110 degrees, i threw on a pair of goggles and dove right in and swam too (when i wasn't scanning the pool to make sure everyone's little head was ABOVE water)
(for the record my trendy stylish friend says LEPORD is SO IN this fall.... but i have a small feeling she would say DON'T wear it like this and DON'T wear purple socks with your new fall kicks for sure)
