are you there spring?

its me, AMY.  if you were peeking in OUR window again we could have fooled you into thinking it was in fact spring.   With my newly painted bright pink toenails, (for the record, my biggest baby chose the color)

my biggest baby wearing his swimsuit on multiple occasions throughout the weekend,

the blowing up of an indoor pool (FULL of balls),  and the purchase of some really cool water guns.......oh and some spring flowers to brighten up our winter weather of FREEZING COLD with a chance of rain.
yes, i got to go to whole foods with a sprinkle of boys, two outta three....ain't bad.. so i had to sneak in some of their FABULOUS flower collection. I love their flowers, don't you?  And while browsing about, i discovered these lunch boxes, I have been searching for the perfect lunch box for quite some time now.... WA LA!  Monkey chose the turquoise and green one and i snagged the other two boys the navy and red stripe... They are awaiting names to be monogrammed on them as we speak.  And yes, you are right... I couldn't bear to get rid of the tiger and puppy snack packs.  The tiger is 4 years old, a most practical gift from our aunt emily that we put to great use! agree??

see it opens up with a seal tight tupperware WITH dividers so NOTHING touches.... (big deal to some of us...not so much to others!)

don't get me wrong....there is not a DARN THING wrong with these but they are proving too small for my boys lunches lately, therefore: causing their mommy to stress a little as things fall out on the way to school.  And we don't need that do we?
rewind back before my monkey got sick to better times.
this beloved was over.  my goodness, look at that floor.  WHERE is the MOMMY that lives here? 'cause she sure isn't with the vaccum...wow!  don't worry its on my short list of "to-dos"

john john's cowboy boots make him SO tall. and so stinkn' cute!  they are a staple in his wardrobe for sure.

what y'all don't have bright orange nerf bullets on your walls, ceilings, cabinets, etc.?

Dear daddyc, easy for YOU to lock these babies out of the tool shed.... Look at that angel peering in. bless him and ME for not knowing where the key is? they didn't say a word and MADE DO. God Love a little boy!

then we had our low key sick short lived day...actually is was LONG lived for me at home all darn day with three wild indians but we too made do and pulled out toys we had not seen in awhile which helped the sanity!! What also helped was our secret admirer dropping some little gift happys by our front door.  PERFECT surprise for sick little guys!

and while some napped and littlest ones DID NOT.... we played with dogs, took some close up pictures, and did what all three boys love to do best.... CRAWL under our bed? who knows?

where oh where is this lil' lamb going NOW?

to PLAY in the POTTY. where else?

THEN,  receive kisses from his biggest doggy... I mean. Immune system at work. No wonder this little lamb has the immune system of an OX.

oh how i love this baby.  Daddyc and i sadly threw away ALL of our baby bottles.... we were a wee bit weepy (NO, we didn't cry but hard to believe we are bottle free- we have been giving lil' lamb one bottle at night, i think to hold onto the fact he is our last baby?)  we also packed up all our baby spoons, the small ones with soft ends for baby caroline...... it was a BIG weekend at our house!

All and all i don't guess we did too much this past weekend.  Mostly stuck by the fireside and stayed warm.  We did manage to break out Saturday night for a little while, and will say....we SO enjoyed our quiet dinner and catching up with an old friend and the boys enjoyed McDonalds (i know... for the first time in his 4 years of life he ask for McDonalds for dinner??? who knows, he has probably had it two times his whole life, and one time was with his mimi.  I am NOT opposed in the least just don't have one close to my house) but all boys enjoyed cheeseburgers, fries, and a chocolate chip cookie ALL for the grand total of $5.50 (i think we will do Mcdonalds again sometime soon. wink wink.) so they enjoyed that and some time with Mrs. Carolyn and we enjoyed them being with mrs. carolyn too!! We got to FINALLY go to lolly & big daddy's house (feeling rather free of germs from the past week)
i think its safe to say my monkey ran in and said " oh i missed you lolly and jumped into her lap for a better part of our superbowl watching visit.

my lil' hornet B-LINED to big daddy and stopped DEAD in his tracks.... after spotting his dearly beloved angelic cousin, baby caroline.  "had someone STOLE his spot" I think its more than safe to bet ALL God's children love big daddy, and his grandchildren can't cuddle up and sleep on him enough.  The boys were tickled pink to see baby caroline again.... I was too!

there is the whole crew!
and HERE SHE IS looking most perfect and sweet.  I may add, this is the best baby i have EVER seen! she makes monkey and my lil' lamb look BAD.....She never makes a peep!  Daddyc kept repeating "that is amazing"- and after our little hornet (as a newborn), it does seem rather amazing to be as good of a baby as this precious girl is!!!! i think we are keeping her. wink wink.
Dear Baby Caroline, You are already so big.  So flawless and pretty.  We love you and are so proud of you!

and this princess thought her mama was too funny last night....

and then it was time to bid farewell until we meet again!

BUT NOT before demanding some sweet treats!

Hope you enjoy your monday! i LOVE the sunshine and am off to enjoy it with the younger of my brood.
