there is more...

just to be clear.  These post are NOT great by a long shot but it was our week and that is all i got.... i did start a post on fun rooms for young teen girls, my cousin is dreaming of a new room for Christmas and i would think of her while cruising through my sites and books, but i have not finished the post so never posted it..... And i feel for sure she has something in mind, she is in the phase where i feel QUITE sure she KNOWS EVEryTHING and her mama or any other adult knows NOTHING and is SO old fashion...   but incase she didn't and wanted some ideas i was going to have them?????  anyway, here is some more of our random week....
there was an eye doctor appointment for my biggest baby....
Dear scheduler people,
When you book YOUNGsters, try and do it at a time when NO ONE else will be there or a time that will be quicker rather than longer....
the waiting room was FULL...eeekkk!  i was envisioning bad things already...... This is daddyc's 2nd cousins practice so we wouldn't have gone anywhere else.
hour one.... i think i have the sweetest boys EVER!
each time they went behind that wooden door a bell would chime... yes, a WHOLE LOTTA bells were chiming the whole time.....
our 'guys' a mean guy and mimi's motorcycle man minus the motorcycle.
we inspected the displays... Entertained the adorable idea of my monkey in glasses......which we DO NOT have to get but i do so love a child in glasses.... so cute!!!
spotted some REAL spider-webs, Has spiderman been here mama?  WEBS!!!!
not to fret, he got back there and got them... Cleaning crew, you are OFF the hook!
Hour TWO, we got creative and took ON & OFF an old tylanol top again and again and again and again.... i was wishing it were not empty at this point but still glad the boys were somewhat composed considering our over 2 hour wait....
our friend Thomas was sick so we made him a card.
we played hide n go seek... and climbed into all kinds of nooks & cranys...
at this point our waiting room fan club were STILL fans...
"oh they are so cute"
AND THE NORMALLY ONE HUNDRED TIME A DAY QUESTION
"ARE THEY TWINS?"
I don't even look up anymore and most the time my monkey answers,
"12 months apart, thanks!" and beats them to the punch.....
Needless to say, they moved us back to the head doc.'s office.... to color... And/Or jump and hide in his couch and play with his golf balls.....
about 500 hundred nurses stopped in to see us "oh i had to see this hair" or "oh we heard y'all were in and had to peek" and "oh can i hold them?"
my response, yes, for as long as you want, you can even take them home for a day or two, i am THAT nice!!!!!
And after the 457th nurse came in the boys simply ask
"do you have any gum or candy?"
guess what, they did.  She went lickity split and found them some....  we were in good hands!  Thanks Alabama Vision for taking care of us during our 2 hour and 45 minute visit.
And just like that we put on our shades from sensitive eyes and headed our for the grocery store.... oh boy!

And we were so happy to attend a program at our cousin's school too!  She did great and even had a SPEAKING part.
her sweet teacher and i went to school together, she simply placed miss priss back into her line... "not to get out of order"  Some are more strict than others, and that is fine!!!
we love our cousin and were so thrilled she did such a great job with her songs and scripture reading.   We like to joke that she will be on the street corner preaching to us all one day.... And my only response is "she will have a big fan club on the street, saying AMEN to each passage she reads"  The girl loves to read the BIBLE, how wonderful is that!

yes, this picture below is a random baby that i was seconds away from asking to hold and/or take home.... The hair made me think of Molly Lynn, i was missing molly lynn and MK... I was wishing i was closer to hold her all day (i think her mama wishes i was there to hold her all day too! wink wink)
And miss thing has NO brothers.... It melts my heart she is thankful for my biggest baby... And when her teacher questioned her "well angel you have NO brothers" she simply stated well, kind of, i mean, a cousin who is LIKE a brother, we are all in family you know"  I couldn't agree more!!!
i swooned over the pilgram hat treats! so cute!
i then swept up my monkey from school, let him down easy... this friend is out of town, this friend has plans, your girly friend can't come over until Monday afternoon, and your sister-like cousin needs some rest time to recover from her ear aches and a long program day.....   But.... You get to run errands and play with me... Yes, he was less than over joyed!!! but managed to pull through.... we GOT to GO to the fabric store.....   HEAVEN!!!!  the boys were ANGELS.
And to TWO shoe stores for new shoes... heaven forbid, they have all 3 boys sizes in stock, that would just be EASY...  To the library.... and finally to the playground, pulled in, "mama, NOT this playground" pulled back out and landed at THIS playground....

so when you have boys, in the south, most people put them in red and/or white keds as soon as they take ONE step and continue until they just look silly in little red keds.... well, i have THREE boys, i am tired of keds.... Plus my little boys have WIDE feet and they just don't look cozy to me.... So we went with these.... i am still on the fence....
Are we GHETTO Fabulous?  or are we cute in some red shoes?
Either way, we are sporting them.   No, i did NOT get these for my biggest baby... I have a little sense or taste rather NOr did i let him get the black spider web shoes i had to squeeze by that one "oops, they don't  have your size, lets keep looking"  i feel mean but goodness gracious, if you would have seen them, you'd agree....
ok. that is it.  we are out.  i will come back soon with DECENT post with some meat to them and not just my adorably smart and wonderful children. wink wink.
