hop- skip & an almost FULl week later....

i am back.... and probably better than ever, once i get down this coffee!   We have had quite some busy week, full of events, plus this & that.... i will touch on what i managed to shoot and probably forget a lot.  I must admit, i slept in a little this week and enjoyed my time away from the computer, there were days when i did not even check email, just from my phone... I like to "dis-connect" sometimes but you know what they say about that "cat".... it always comes back!

THIS week was letter N week.  We had just the perfect "show n tell" from our more  than perfect neighbor who assures me "charlie & i have the best conversations each day"-  She is a retired school teacher, daddyc's old teacher at that, and we are so so so blessed to have her next door to us, She has some beautiful grandchildren we get to see so often...... Needless to say, she had a nest and thought who else to give it to, my boys!  thank you addy!
so we took our 2 Nest for N week.  Perfect!
and thought "why stop there" lets make NEST to EAT for his class
and so we did... we used chinese noodles for straw and butterscotch for our mud- and while i  chose to leave the peanuts out because some kids are funny about nuts, i had to fall back on "PEANUT" m & ms for the eggs... If you notice who placed the eggs in which nest.....   This child BLEEDS orange and blue.... ALL THE TIME!
And on another morning, you know just to make us LATE, we decided to put our twin nieces birthday gifts together....... who knew there were 358,000,567 screws, washers, and bolts involved....... And two antsie boys all up in the screws and parts.... but we managed to get them done and the boys managed to test them out!  we think they will love them.
and sometimes they would hit a furry road block....
filled them with necessary heros... even though, i pushed for them to go upstairs to get my old baby doll or a stuffed animal to put in the front.... they did not want to.  Boys are different-its a fact!
And another day, i decided to take photos of the adorable outfits our aunt katie helped with so she could see, she could do this, but due to Molly Lynn gracing us with her presence EARLY, we pawned it off on another talented seamstress in Atlanta, good intentions to send her name and website- maybe i will and maybe i won't get that done?  stay tuned
i can say that on THIS day, the boys were so loving, sweet, and all of the above to each other and everyone.... errands and ALL- i was very very very proud, it was a busy day FULL of needed errands, a cousin's Thanksgiving program, etc....
well, until we got home and almost dinner time and then a neighbor and i had to laugh a little at my littlest lamb, who threw himself to the street kicking and screaming (we were not real sure why but think it had something to do with walking and me letting go of his hand- only to help another child) Funny the first 10 minutes, very annoying and frustrating the last 10 minutes.... he pulled through and played happily before declaring he MUST EAT DINNER NOW which we ended our time with our friends and went to "cook" thats right, i STILL HAD to cook and wait on daddyc to grill.... MISTAKE i KNOW NOT to make.... wait til dinner time to cook dinner!   we were glad we had NO plans, it has been way TOO long since we have been at home with no plans... Heaven it was to do NOTHING!!!
i get to see this ALL THE TIME.   My boys really love each other, although, sometimes i think they the other when they throw punches, for the most part, i find they love having the others around and ALWAYS question where the missing links are.... Its totally normal for us to have another child with us which files right in but when one of "US" is gone, its very odd, very calm, very quiet, and just almost sad.
kate, what do you think? cute, huh? she is a "keeper"
big pockets are KEY for little boy treasures which their mom can NOT remember to empty before washing
I will upload my phone trail of pictures later.... stay tuned.
