First things first...what will they wear! cowboys and indians of course... if we are going to ACT the part, might as well DRESS it too, right?
The hornet in my life...ALWAYS...plays with animals round the clock.... sometimes my monkey joins in too.

after a full morning of animals, firemen, and tackling.... we were out the door!
almost ready...some beads or "rope" as monkey called it, an axe ('cause ya never know) and always a good pair of glasses....
Our hornet always puts up a good fight over the ole' coat....phew! Glad we aren't going skiing, that would be a heck of an experience with that child....
a couple hours later after a good fun INDOOR activity we are back, it is a mere 25 degrees and has me being so very thankful i don't live up north and wishing for warm spring weather- we had a hard time running to the car and back today.
Dear Outside, swings, sandbox, water, and bikes,
we miss you like crazy!
Daddyc came home just in time to build us a warm fire! We sat fireside and played and enjoyed our time.
walkie, talkies are a fun indoor game if you need some ideas! my boys play for hours with them. Hide n go seek, just got easiser!!

while i didn't run around with the boys what i DID DO is debate taking my baby, 9 months old, to get his first haircut... Don't get me wrong. I love long hair on boys (in the younger years that is), esp. if its curly....But what we have "is very fine, stringy, mulletish style going on" that i am thinking needs to be even-d up a bit. what do you think?
so after a fun filled morning. babies were put down. I flew through the new mail and wa la! i was off to the couch to read up on all my friends and their good advice
WHATEVER.... My monkey and i got out playdough and made ALL kinds of neat things, then did laundry and a little light cleaning, meaning i ran the dustbuster and unloaded the dishwasher and started dinner!
then after little to NO NAPS, i warmed the car back up and we headed to our local library, always a fun time!
ya'll are right, I shouldn't take them out in public, esp. around this time of day, when mommy has halfway thrown her hands up and called it a "day"
Dear mrs. circulation Desk Lady,
why i should know your name by the amount of time we spend at the library, i don't. is that why you are so angry? or was it just first day back after vacation? Cheer up, i will take them home with me in a little while i promise. In the meantime, you are getting paid to work in the "children's" section and that requires a SMILE.

so that summed up our monday. It was a good one, babies all tucked away by 7:30 last night and still snoozing as i type at 7 this morn. THAT IS A GOOD day! Mothers day out starts again today for my oldest two babies. just me and my lil' lamb for a couple hours, i can't imagine how much we will get done OR how quiet it will be rather. And Allie is coming tonight SO... daddyc and i will enjoy a night out on the town doing who knows what? we have not decided yet!.... Long over due- about 8 days actually but who is counting. Cheers!
*sorry for the lame post today but geez, isn't this what you think of when you think January* (cold and boring and uneventful)
