dear peggy post...

gosh, is that even the right name?
My manners are a little fuzzy with the dos and don'ts.
Can you sport two spider men umbrellas to a black tie affair?
yes, i agree we got a little wet as they are built for TWO year old and not big mamas and daddies...
we had a WONDERFUL weekend even dampened by the terrible rainy weather and COLD!
Our concert was great.
The chili cookoff was great considering, so i heard, i did NOT attend in the rain-  Gosh, i think i am a bad sport.
Dear Self,
GO NEXT year....
do it for the kids.
And on Saturday, the boys asked to be dropped off EARLY at their big daddy's house (they all three spent the Day AND NIGHT, oh, and then asked that I LEAVE asap, sniff sniff......
So by Saturday afternoon-
i was HOME with daddyc in the rain.... BORED SICK!!! with NO KIDDOS....
It has been years, literally YEARS since the two of us have been HOME in our house, NO KIDS in tact.....  its a safe assumption to say we felt lost but rallied to get fancied up and attend a wonderful event for a wonderful set of children....
And on the back of these children's card were wildflowers, i think i may have been the ONLY person to take them when we left but i just knew i had a couple monkeys who would enjoy planting them when it warms up!
so the weekend faired well despite the TERRIBLE weather....
My grandmothers 80th birthday was post-poned, my two year old's REAL birthday was nice (and rainy)  - we went to krispy kreme and then to dream land for lunch.... And then helped a big three year old celebrate princess style.
