family fun.

after our ball game & after our birthday party & after we got daddyc off to the golf course we jetted to our big daddy's house and awaited our family to roll in (the ones who were not already there)
We had one cousin delivering another baby girl in town (everyone is healthy, beautiful, and thriving) and her big sister is wondering what in the world she did to deserve such a
"cry" baby and feels the need to cover her sweet ears.  so cute.

And our "big" Sam, or the next in line to our little sam anyway is quite some lacrosse player and was in town to play!  we couldn't wait to see him this year in action.  He is an all-star.

Our big daddy pulled out all the fish he had caught and we had a family fish fry.  so yummy and so good to see everyone!
i used this as an excuse to purchase some YUMMY cupcakes.

safe to say the boys and their cousins did not see the indoors
And it is ALWAYS safe to say this child un-dressed....
and funny how things come up or come to little minds.  while shuffling platters to and from the fish frying crew, i over heard the bigger boys- " i want to set this up for my lolly (that is my mom)"
i didn't see what it was they were building but snapped this angel holding this and can imagine it was something with flowers????
so the other says "well, i don't think she can see it in heaven"
my monkey replied "oh. of course she can, she sees everything i do and see, look at those clouds she looks right through them, she will LOVE this i know, she loved everything"
sometimes i wonder when my mom crosses charlie's little mind, seeing how extremely close they were. but i thought it was sweet that these two were obv. thinking of her and have some great memories!

 our lax man in action
he sports pink socks in my mom's memory.  My mom LOVED to watch him play ball and was so proud of our 'big' Sam.....  And i still see this GINORMOUS Sam being 2 years old with little bouncing white curls and remember him being just as active as my boys and my sam.  Time goes way too fast.

he had a big fan club.  All his aunts, uncles and lots of cousins were there to watch him play.  It is good to be together.....we are so proud!

Congrats on your senior year big sam.  we are way too proud of you and love you too much!

And today yet another cousin, is providing this huge crew with an Italian lunch, a true Italian home-made lunch..... we are excited and have no dout why the lbs. are adding up so quickly!! Daddyc has been very busy with work and mentioned he needed to go in to the office today, so i kindly replied "skip the family lunch and go to work then" He replies back "ARE YOU KIDDING?  And miss that italian feast- i think i will work LATER" wink wink.
I hope you have tight family ties.  there is nothing like it-  And we feel lucky to have siblings and cousins right here in our own town.  And are even MORE GRATEFUL for our mimi & big daddy who do SO much to help us and support everyone & more importantly mine & daddyc's social life. wink wink.

take me out to a ballgame....

all warmed up and ready to play ball.   The excitement and dirty little grins were the most adorable things you have ever seen-  Needless to say we were PUMPED about our first game!! Go blue jays!!

fyi:  i washed my monkey's pants the very night before and can assure you they had NO grass stains-  I think he looks at grass and dirt and it jumps right onto him....YAY!!!! (the game had NOT even started yet, he had been there 5 minutes)

of course our mimi came and wouldn't miss it and yes, that would be bacon in my little lamb's hand.
I had to wake him up about 2 minutes before walking out the door
(correction:  big daddy had to wake him up and get him dressed for me so that i could get dressed and get those other two indians out the door and pick up snacks, we wouldn't want our little ball players to get hungry, would we? what would i the boys do without our big daddy?) and i felt the need to pick my little lamb up breakfast seeing how we tend to eat round the clock!!!

we had some pouting.  It is hard to be little and especially hard when you REALLY want to play ball too, On the same field!!

one of our little princess' had the right idea...
while mimi just tried to keep the animals at the zoo fed...

incase you are a little fuzzy- these are our "girls" or 2 outta our 3 watkins girls-  They are most adorable and very supportive of their boys! l.o.v.e.
my mom's eldest sister was there too.  My monkey was so proud and for some reason his Aunt Faye was his "go to girl"-  He wanted "her" to hold his hat, sticks, you know the important things DURING the game.... And she may have had to adjust his ball cap a HUNDRED times....
 another one of our princess' up to bat.  we were so proud.  Daddyc was nervous 'cause this angel of ours was nervous.  And i secretly wanted to tear up when post game chatting;
daddyc said "kate did great didn't she?  she was a little nervous and i was so proud of her"  i mean, does it get any sweeter?

 our fan club

these two preferred a little tackle game in the outfield....
and oh my goodness.  to say these two are trouble.  I glanced over to see them digging through her mama's purse and waltzed right over to see if i could help them and look at the looks i got.
"WHO ME?
UP TO SOMETHING?
we were NOT DOING A THING?"
oh. and we KNOW we are cute.

These are some of monkey's bestest buddies in the world.
And i can't wait to pull this picture out at a high school event out or something down the road....
Great first game blue jays!!!
