thankful thursday

today i am thankful for....

a night with girls and ALL girls

and i hope for my fridays sake...singing is NOT involved on my part. wink wink.

And just to throw the blog post completely sideways with the topic....

NO, not in a million years, 

NOT even for a second to get that sweet picture,

 NOT even for a cupcake or any type of bribe..... 

thats just how they roll........

a baby makes 4

coming next month.... a new baby girl.

we had a TRUE TEA PARTY....

a day for me.  NOT spent like this....

While it consisted of dentist appointment, a hair cut, and buying other people wedding and baby gifts...it was NICE to be alone and hop in and out of the car with great speed and no whining, no sippy cups, and NO Snacks to hand out, or diaper changes.....

And it is always a bonus when the boys love their babysitter! i finally feel caught up from my road trips.....finally.....

living right.

well so, i signed up for the Alabama grown fruits and veggies delivered weekly, no you are right, NOT delivered that would have cost extra but brought to my local wine mart (half a mile away) for me to pick up..... Now, thats just too easy!  Fruits and Veggies check.  Wine, check.  I thought it would be a great time to learn to make things with veggies we don't buy often enough, like this week EGGPLANT.  send me ideas if you have some.....  I can't wait to support our state and enjoy good food!  stay tuned for good things.  Is it all organic?  I have no clue, i didn't ask but i would think so???

city living....

we loaded up and tested map quest and back roads to get to the ones we love the most....  We MADE it!  No problems at all and cruised into what was a calm and put together household BEFORE we showed up....  We had too much fun.... we, me and my bestest, had a GREAT idea one of the days we would use daddies to keep kids and head to a far away fabric store, load up on the cutest fabric EVER and b-line home to sew all day..... well, reality set in, we SEwED NOTHING!  have a ton of cute fabric..... And had some off the wall kiddos while the daddies enjoyed golf and cocktails.  Wishful thinking i guess... And oh by the way,  NO! i don't know how to sew or use a sewing machine.... So that was that.  We will do this later or pay someone else too.  There that sounds BETTER!  Good times were had and we always hate to leave and take awhile to recover to whatever our "normal" is....

She did shows daily and wore all kinds of beautiful duds!

we played with all kinds of girly things.... I think they kinda like a change of toys?

when you make the show stop to photo shoot, you get wonderfully happy faces like these!!!
