it is fall y'all!

how can you not LOVE the fall time of the year?  it is the absolute BEST if you ask me.... Since you have heard from me last, we have done some fun things with some cute and adorable people..... i am slowly coming back around and did NOT take pictures of our fun..... sometimes i DO and sometimes i DON'T......  but i snapped a couple of our wonderful weekend outdoors....

not pictured was my biggest baby.  He spent the day with his mimi which i hear was a whole lotta fun!  We spent the day cheering for our tigers and awaiting charlie to see his new bike.  Happy Early Birthday to him!  he was super pumped and spent the rest of the weekend on it!  And by him getting a NEW bike, down went the old bike SEAT and ON went the training wheels and old helmet from the shed.... and bAM!!!!  my littlest lamb was smitten to say the very very least.   My middle baby didn't stand a chance to even sit on it.... one day soon.....
Dear Santa,
we are in need of ONE MORE bike now.
see what you can do please sir!  thanks a million.

And just to update you all..... My big school going boy has new opinions, or opinions in general now.... No MORE of the button up the BACK church clothes, knickers or sandals.... but this pictured above and a sport coat.... i mean...... they grow up oVER NIGHT and never look back!!!  And he informed me just THIS morning, "um, mom, i know its cold but i can NOT wear those pants to school (FYI:  The were some adorable light blue cords with brown gingham pockets and cuffs), i really just want to wear my carharts please"   I understood and made a mental note.
with that in mind we are Very LIMITED now on our fall/winter pants selections,
i had him wearing the cute pants but with golf shirts and thought that would be good?
wrong.  i stand corrected.
and just when i thought i would let the pumpkin patch fly under the radar, i found a beautiful day and took the chance to go play on a farm.... a different farm/patch.  It was good but i think i am partial to my old baker farm patch, just sayn'.  but we did love being out there yesterday!!!!

a little commercialized with these things but can you possibly imagine the excitement from my littlest baby...... just incase you forgot we are OBSESSED with "JUMPY THINGS" as we call them round here..... and that is putting it lightly..... love, love, love them.....

we were lucky enough to get our big daddy with us.....    Always nice to have man to man coverage instead of zone defense esp. when your children insist that the hay on the hayride is a bit scratchy and they need a soft lap.....

Hayden, AL.  i am a fan!!!!   And i would come play on this farm any ole' day you invite me.

we are also BIG HUGE giant fans of our big daddy's jeep too if you can't tell.  Little boys and all the big boys in the neighborhood too, wink wink.   Not pictured was our baby caroline-  She started mothers day out this fall and is working on her immune system and is catching all the yucky stuff going around.  Pray for her quick recovery and before you start emailing me, she just has a cold but still..... runny noses and fevers are NOT FUN!!!!

yes, we have to lean ALL the way over to be able to pedal but he can do it and LOVES IT!!!!
And this is about the best i got of my soon to be birthday boy!   a big bike for a big boy.   And the sweetest almost 6 year old i know.....  For instance.... THis morning as i was in dream land thinking i would get coffee and read the paper, in comes my big boy.
"good morning love, how did you sleep?"
"oh, i slept great mom, i was just up there for a minute longer praying for my Lolly"
(that is my mom for you new readers, and almost 2 years after her passing away my biggest baby thinks and talks of her so often-  we miss our Lolly more than life itself but are really working on living a happy life like our Lolly wanted us too and enjoying the wonderful memories she created for us)
