houston...we have a problem...

well, maybe not a REAL problem but... i had in my little head " i was DONE blogging, this is it, i'm over it... its SO BOrING (as one of my boys would say...), we are stable now, we aren't learning new words (well, none i care to share with the public, wink wink), we aren't learning to walk, we aren't looking too cute anymore (EVEN my 2 year old is JEAN OBsessed... thank you big daddy for supplying him jeans... he is over the moon, and when we wear other pants, he is quick to ask, "are these my red JEANS mama?"  and i am quick to tell a white lie (is that a NO NO in the parenting book??? i'm a little fuzzy on details of the ole' what to and not to do) "yes, whitmore, these would be your RED jeans, Green jeans, polka dot jeans.... etc."  it never hurt anyone, right?"

anyway, this past week, i have received so MANY emails of what have we been doing and if they know what i have been doing, they need pictures, and i thought some friends may cry, granted they were CLOSE friends, i like to claim as family..... But i am flattered you enjoy the blog, 'cause i gotta admit, i really don't- i am always in shock at the number of people who follow/stalk and/or are entertained by our mishaps....don't get me wrong  I LOVE having documentation of what we have been up too, i love seeing pictures of my boys, their adorable friends, etc.  daddyc and i scroll through them more than most and recall such wonderful memories and wonder where the time has gone..... until one of the oh so loved boys breaks something, rides dirt bike INSIDE, has play dough fight in living room, then its a quick snap back to reality of us raising what truly feels like a pack of wild wolves.........but to be honest, i'd rather take the pictures and create on online scrapbook with fun bright backdrops then create a blog post, but hey, i appreciate the kindness and will TRY, no promises, to change my blogging attitude....

So daddyc is roped in a new J-o-b.... he was movn' and shakn' all week in new orleans, i HARDLY felt any tid bit of remorse for him as he was fine dining and enjoying cocktails with fellow adults.... I was getting horse from SCREAMING at the boys, beating a black dog (i tell no lie, atleast i found a wooden coat hanger so i didn't bruise my hand....gosh!  reading that sounds terrible....but yes, on that day, at THAT time, it had come to that)  I think the black dog now KNOWS, it is NOT a good idea to sneak any food off counter top. phew!!!!  i had it in my head to make a big red heart from burlap for my door.... Back when i knew EVERYTHING and had a PERFECT plan for my life, i was NOT going to be the mom who hung the seasonal flags, used YARD art, etc.   but admit it, it is fun to walk into your back door with bright little happys hanging from it, right?  my boys enjoy them too.... Anyway, i painted, i went to jo ann's (oh my goodness, i was in heaven, my baby boy and i went up and down every single isle, i was ready to go into the bakery business and decorate cakes, plan a party, and learn to sew.....)  but thanks to the "new smith family plan" of the new job and INflow or better yet OUTflow of funds, i was VERY practical (cue the deserving a cookie award) and snuck out of there with a couple yards of burlap..... see i might CAN do it????  lets don't make false promises though, k!!!!!    so to all you kind folks who want to check us out... Here we are in all our glory!!!!  And decision remains un decided.... BUT a ray of light, i DID pick up the camera for first time in WEEKS for our circus visit but with a mob scene of friends and even more kids- and a little drink in hand, photos took a back seat to enjoy friends, drinking, and keeping my babies safe......
we have been jumping like crazy....

Had wonderfully filled days with our cousins.....girls girls girls!!!!

we made some bouncy balls.  No tutorial here, they didn't work and i only looked for the borax, before asking my aunt what it was, for a week.  no hard feelings.....anymore!
i subbed in my littlest lamb's class, i just love children and their sweet innocence to the world, both his teachers were sick and i was more than happy to step in......

we made a valentines cookie cake... Did we eat it?  of course not.  shared with neighbors and friends but when our daddy got home friday night, the cake was tasted and enjoyed.  Thanks daddyc!  you'd think i'd learn my lesson. DO NOT MAKE YUMMY TREATS... its waste full.
"charlie you won't TRY the cookie cake, you LOVE chocolate chip cookies?"
"well mom, you put those m&M things on it and i just don't want it"?
whatever!
perfected our play dough consistency after three batches... YES!!! going to use play dough in fun colors for Whitmore's b'day party.
we traveled downtown to the circus AND the pre-circus partay too... may have been better than actual circus.....
whats better than watching some bikers do tricks????
AND a CLIMBING wall. yes. please.
and more "jumpy things" than the two little boys could EVER imagine.... free cotton candy, etc. for NORMAL kids who like cotton candy.... we DID enjoy chicken fingers and popcorn though...
we were just tickled pink to see their daddy who was gone all week.....

it was dragon themed with lots of ninjas and breaking things.... it was OUR year at the circus.. Nothing beats breaking things and fighting, NOTHING!!!! if only they could do it on those "fast" horseys, or the tigers...... then THAT would be a circus!!!!

and we i have been cooking.... a lot!.... sometimes i do, sometimes i don't.... this week, i do!!!!  but i have never made anything that required this appetizing greasy stuff, have ya'll?  i can vividly remember my mom having it and greasing her cake pans with it, etc.  but kinda thought it was an olden days deal.  not so much???  Anyway, my fruit tart was oh so yummy!!!!
i attended a baby shower with one of my very bestest, this is the SOLE picture i took... So much for adorable pregnant girl, precious little clothes and gifts and a sprinkle of good friends kinda like family.  Next baby??

And seriously our Molly Lynn is THIS big????  hard to believe........

and the "cool" kids were in action.... but trying to stay "cool" in their do we LIKE girls, we do but do we "ACT" like we like girls" do we admit, we loved playing with her"  or do we baulk at the thought of giving hugs at nights end"   oh come on, YOU ARE SIX.....
'cause frankly, daddyc and i wanted to put her in our pocket and steal her forever.... And baby sister too!!!

we wear our helmets proud and tote balls around town with us..... can't you picture us coming?  dear goodness don't try, its a funny sight.
we are getting so big..... right before my eyes, i can hardly notice until i do, then i'm sad.....

And THIS below is how i neglected my children THIS week....... door hangers if you please.

and PROOF, the dogs lives.... spoiled bratt!!!   but i double dog dare him to eat food of the counter again.... or else.......
or else nothing, i'll spank him again, complain til the sun goes down, and then snuggle with him later and apologize..... so weak.
