we opted for a MUCH needed low key weekend at the lake..... It was all that plus some more.
and on the way in...we stopped to play on one of our favorite playgrounds....
of course we had the DOGS....
and of course we ventured here....
we are kinda partial to Dan, this ginormous horse below, but they have added some new monster size horses to the stable too and we are just as smitten with those....
the mist you see below keeps the bugs off the precious horses, i mean....dotted i's and crossed t's no dout.
they had also built a bar for parties and completely forgot to run that by ME. I agree it looks great!!!
and then we ran into these strangers....we knew they were coming and were excited to spend the day with them.
it was a wonderfully relaxing weekend. We watched TWO adult movies...I can't tell you the last time we watched a movie..... It was nice! I was sorry to miss some things this weekend IN town but really needed the re-charge and downtime. I highly suggest it, wink wink.
