rain, rain, and even more rain....and when in dout, Rain! my lil' ranger has been quite the mover and shaker.... he looks good doing it, does he not?

my hornet has been an angel, puddles and what looks like some gummies= happiness in his book (yes, we are in fact wearing our halloween outfits OUT, bear with us)

my monkey: building a boat with will, smart.  building it from will's trash, resourceful slash yucky.

i got these wild indians on thursday, they had a great time as always!  rain rain go away.

what i am thinking:

• i love, love, love this cold weather
• kinda put out that my i-pod DIED in the driveway on the way out the door for my morning run, uuuh! missed my very loud music
• loved the hot shower, although had a hard time getting out of it due to the "contraption" the little monkey had built while i was getting clean and warm, a little more put out that his dad got on to him for using the air conditioning vent to create it....can't a boy play anymore?
• loving my hubby for the delivery of my warm coffee while i read the new southern living (which almost quit coming to my mailbox, but they have impressed me once again...its a good one!)
• loving most of all my orange coat i purchased this summer with pockets big enough to carry keys, phone, suckers, wipes, etc. thank you coat designer who had ME in mind!
• Thanks to susanne kasler for doing a book, it arrived yesterday (i immediately called mom to tell her and flipped through a page or two awaiting mimi and a babysitter) and lucky for me i had thomas, monkey's buddy, to use his strong hands and open it when it came (thanks mr. mike the delivery man who plays in a band, and they are pretty good too)... i can't wait to spend the time on every single page drooling... christmas come early!!! 
• i am thanking mimi for the big ball, pretty sure we have a kick ball game going on in the den and it is buying me some good time to waste blogging, thanks mimi!! And i just heard the monkey say whitmore is the goalie, please dear lord don't let them kick the baby.... brotherly love!!
• i am hoping at our 4 year check up for monkey, 18 month check up for hornet, and flu shots for everyone that we dont' catch all this sickness going around, i am enjoying my well babies!!!
• can't wait to dress the boys up tonight for our first costume party (pictures will come soon after) jury is still out whether the little hornet will wear his???? 
• hoping mom's appt. goes well and she hears news she has long awaited to hear and that she likes the dr. who will do surgery and that it gets on our calendar soon! 
• thinking that gumbo may be too summery, daddyo requested it for the game next weekend (we will have out of town crew staying with us) i gotta think about that one
• i am really thinking, GET OFF THE computer and bath these babies and get them in some cute fall (warm) clothes!
• also thinking i hope i get a visit from andrea and marley today.  she is growing like a weed, and i am MISSING it!  i hope i let her go home and don't keep her forever and ever!!!
