NO news is NOT good news...

the waiting game seems to be the one mom's doctors enjoy.   they usually leave her with a "don't call us, we will call you" type set up.  so days of pain later, mom has called them, TWICE! and finally got the news......  we will do ANOTHER cat scan and then hopefully get you in the works for A surgery, don't know which one yet or the day.  They told her within a couple weeks.....to someone is lots of pain and discomfort "within two weeks" is a lifetime.  My monkey says "lolly is so brave" and i would agree but say "she is hanging in there best she can"

OH! much much lighter note.....my monkey's 4th, yes 4th (read it and WEEP), birthday party is in two days.  i don't know who is more excited!!!  i will wait until friday morning to induce as much stress as possible and can pretty sure bank on the boys being well, BOYS 4 and younger.....

And the race is on...i picked up the groups packets for the race for the cure this saturday.   we should have a good time for a good cause.  i hope everyone is supporting breast cancer awareness month... drinking several hope-tinis, i just want to drink some to tell my mom "i am drinking for YOU" something back in the day i could not possibly imagine saying "i am drunk for YOUR benefit mom" ha!!!  happy drinking and coming run or walk with us, won't you?
