the race is on....

on saturday we were racing for the cure.... it was raining the whole time but the rain did not seem to bother anyone, i heard NO ONE complain about it...it was a beautiful thing!  everyone showed up and didn't seem to mind getting a little wet.... some ran, some walked, little ones walked and rode on shoulders too!! we begun this wonderful celebration of life and "race" for the cure of breast cancer with a prayer...

mom wore her pink shirt well but we know she would rather be wearing the white or blue.... stay tuned.... cure coming soon!!!

i think i will hop out of photos after running a 5k in the rain,  not a pretty sight.

these were done for our team by sweet friends, thank you for all you all have done.  Prayer is a wonderful thing, keep up the good work!  For those who couldn't be there with us.... you KNOW we like to celebrate life often and will do it again soon.  Now get to church before the rain starts AGAIN.
