no we really don't live in seattle but these days it feels similar.... what do you do on rainy days? we packed up and headed out to pick up my niece for the day and we couldn't have been more excited to be getting her. we had high hopes of celebrating fall with a little festival, thank you rain. so.... i did what most moms with 4 babies in tow would do...headed straight to the toy store. we enjoyed the store but can't say the feeling was mutual. three suckers, three prizes, and most toys misplaced and all of them rearranged (with some coaxing of santa claus is watching and may bring this and that) we got out unharmed and all had smiling faces. i think they all chose well...
my little hornet seemed to have lost his smile once we got home but lucky for all of us, i knew how to cheer him up!
we spent some hours in the parking deck across the street, puddles and new found balance beams, and parked golf carts are more fun that you can possibly imagine
my sweet angel of a baby was here too, i will call him ranger (he is close to a park ranger, he is small (i picture most rangers small) and stay out of the spot light and keeps all things under control...he is our "ranger" no dout) he read books to himself for awhile as the other babies ran around...
