thats what friends are for....

No, not to come bearing GIFTS but just to be there in times of need!  Us southerners usually lean the way of bringing a casserole, dinner, sending flowers when a love one dies, has a baby, someone is ill, etc.  We love to shower folks with food and are getting better and better at making donations to the desired charity (see! i knew we could) but I can't help but mention that some of daddyc and my bestest friends have planted a japanese maple right in my very own front yard..... this was done in my mom's honor/memory so that we can live our lives in our happy home and watch it grow.... And think of her.  I mean,  BRILLIANT!

Dear Home buyers (if we ever move),

The tree is coming with us.... And if its too big, it will be written in the sellers contract that the "tree" does NOT come down...........EVER!!!!

I coulda, shoulda, woulda taken pictures of them planting it but i have these three wild indians who couldn't miss the action...one had to see the truck & tools, one trying to talk spanish to the crew, and the other watching from MID-STREET (you know, where the cars fly by.....) so excuse my laziness on the pictures....

VILLA REY is good stuff.. THank you dear friend for feeding our need and now you have just spoiled us rotten... I don't know what will happen when we have to go back the grocery store brand way...... withdrawl for sure.
