its official...
I have changed closets AND changed out the boys clothes too. We are in FULL spring mode, sure, we have to wear a sweater (do you NOT love a baby in a white sweater?) or a pullover in the morning and later evening but IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!!!
And for the past couple years... i have sworn crocs AWAY from my happy home.... 'cause do they get any uglier? i mean, really? But guess what, my monkey's still fit, My middle baby has monkey's old ones, and my littlest lamb says "crocs" every time i ask him to chose his shoes and if you only could hear his angelic self say it, you too may give in..... So i caved and got him some too!!
YESTERDAY, i was DEAD SET, we are going to do
flip flops and sandals NOT crocs....
And after the pace of my little lamb WHO LOVES flip flops became apparent, i ok'd the purchase of crocs for him too....EEEKKKK!!! Another year- wooo hoooo!!!
cute shoes, oh how i hope i see you on my boys feet sooner than later....
i agree, the croc flip flops are NOT cute but different than crocs... but guess what, didn't work, NOW we have both crocs AND croc flip flops.... YAY!!!!
how is the "keeping our clothes on" lesson going?
well, if you know ME
OR MY lil' hornet
then you can just about guess.....
For the most part, we wear clothes OUTSIDE our home.... Maybe not in our yard or our most fabulous neighbors yards BUT.... normally in stores and at school and church, we wear our clothes.....
where does knowing "me" come in?
Well, i mean, really he is 3, he may have the cutest bottom side i have ever seen, HE IS 3... And i really don't think it matters all that much.... As long we wear clothes in public, right? if it offends you, maybe you shouldn't come over 'cause chances are 99.99% of the time he takes a step in the door and SHEDS clothes faster than you can close the door..... These pics. were snapped a mili-second after arriving home from mothers day out!!!! (we wore our bug shirt, because we are talking about 'bugs' of course!) we also took our pretend bugs..... Over the top? maybe but i love a good visual to go with the lesson.
On another note: we are really really REALLY INTO our baths right now.... its NOT uncommon for us to take 3 a day or more..... Look out water bill!!!!
look at my flowers, they resemble WEEDS.... I went wrong somewhere....
And Daddyc and my biggest baby are growing tomatoes this year.... They are starting them INSIDE and will move them outside in weeks to come....
And along with our spring frocks, come the NEED for oxi clean.... We play HARD outside, from SUN UP literally (my littlest lamb was shooting hoops at 7 a.m. this morning and he SLEPT with his basketball last night.....although, he is partial to his football) And we stay outside until its dark.... Our clothes REALLY show our love of outdoors.... so i do my best to soak and bleach pen what i can..... For the most part, i can get anything but permanent market and dry erase marker out!
Dear Oxi clean makers,
thank you.
you make my life easier.
i moved some flowers outside already, i know i know, its early but i couldn't take it anymore and felt the urge to do yard work..... You may know this, but i LOVE yard work....
my monkey (with the help of his big daddy) is saving his change to drive boats all summer at the beach.... I love that he carries it around in his crown royal bag.....
My dogs?
oh they are great...well, One is great and wonderful and TIRED from our morning run....
The other one, is showing his age and size..... He is old and doesn't do much anymore..... sniff sniff.
its safe to say, we have been outside all week with no time to post..... Its also a safe assumption that my little lamb swam in this creek and turned his shoes brown....
Insert the comment "he should have been wearing those ugly crocs"
Its also VERY safe to say, we have skipped naps most days this week to play outside on playgrounds....
more t'ball & swimming this week.... And most importantly a concert with the ones i love the most tomorrow night and a black tie fancy event on Saturday night NO boys in tow and then Sunday, my baby of all my babies turns TWO. but if we are being honest here, and i want to be.... i am SO LOVING this stage of each baby boy.... 5, 3, 2 are so much fun, i wish i could hit pause.....
But i seriously think i drooled over this newborn baby i saw this morning, seriously, it was almost scary for the sweet mama of his, i almost stole him.....
Have a great weekend, i am almost positive you won't hear from me again, i have things to do and people to chat with and MOST importantly babies and a significant other to play with (who i so wished could have stayed home from work to enjoy a cocktail and swing on the front porch in the sun with me) but i guess someone has to work.... Happy Weekend!
