what are little boys, made of?

while adding, no lie, a half inch of top soil to an adorable little moss ball looking plant (no i am not a true gardener therefore its okay for me to refer to it as a cute little moss ball) something started moving around....i freaked a little, my monkey came to my rescue "mom, its just a frog, let me grab him"  yes readers, he just turned four and has saved my day more times that i could ever IMAGINE! so monkey grabbed it, by one leg no-less, and threw it in a bug box (he had high hopes of keeping him...."its the best frog i have ever had" he told his daddy- yes, we have caught other frogs too.... i know!  

and ALL day i promised that angel i would help him look up what frogs like to eat, etc. but if you have three babies 4 and under you know, looking up frog info. doesn't make the top of your "to-do" list but to no avail we made time that night and i agreed the little guy could house in the laundry room (with the door shut like he couldn't crawl under.... it just made me feel better i guess)  And there i had a happy baby boy!!!

and daddyc jumped at the chance to snap this one.... apparently this lil' monkey has a hard time using the bathroom and would rather take care of things off the front porch.....sorry to our neighbors (they know..) and all monkey's friends parents too.... I do try and give him a little pep talk when unleashing him at your house i promise.....

other weekend events:  a good ole' night out with the SC: always a good time, always laugh til it hurts, and always wake up with a story to tell (and laugh some more at what happened or was said the night before) i wish you all friends like these!  Mimi agreed to the babies, and lolly & big daddy okayed to my monkey the night over...i don't know who was more excited of the three!  We awoke sat. morning to dine over pancakes with Aubie, no less.... it was fun!  I don't know if Aubie was ready for my lil' hornet though, wow!!!  he was in rare form to say the least.  We spent all day outside, playing with friends, jumping in leaves, riding bikes in the warm NOVEMBER 65 degrees (i love the south!), i got to hang with allie (aka MiSS allie who i am forever in debt) for a long time and catch up, we even got to house stalk together (i won't mention who's house..... just in case but i have to say hats off to you my friend, i am in love!!!), i had an art delivery...its a "keeper" and looks great, daddyc was able to spend some good time hanging christmas lights for a dear friend (you have to know to enjoy the story and we don't have near the time for that), we even enjoyed a SLOW morning with breakfast out to cracker barrel one day to make it that much better with NO clean-up (don't you feel like you are at your grandmothers when dining there, i do! + toys + candy + abundance of wall decor = good place for wild indians, a hunting daddyc, big daddy, and my monkey did go with his new chairs in tow...not the short ones for duck hunting though... don't just assume any chairs will do.... i know i won't anymore, ha!  We enjoyed a beautiful weekend and will admit i kinda enjoyed only a couple events for a change, i should do it more often!!! A girl could Get Used to this..... 4 boys to spoil me, not much going on, Life IS Good! 

oh what fun to wake friday morning to "workers"!!

we put huggies to good use at this house.... pretty sure if we attended YOUR wedding and you HAD these, i took two and probably use them daily!!!!

please say your yard does NOT look like this...front and back folks.... yes, it puts me over the edge somedays but the boys love to play amongst our "year round garage sale"

and i got a book to call my own...made by my biggest boys- i will love and cherish it forever and place in the in the tupperware labeled ART

i know marley, he carries rocks everywhere and hikes his pants to short lengths and pushes sleeves to short sleeves.....lets label him weird and WILD!!!

my brood isn't as easily entertained as that sweet princess, we pull displays down if it takes that.... IT DID!!! balloons do good things.

some enjoyed the big furry tiger up close, others enjoyed from a far....

there is a glimpse of our happy home this weekend.... very random post i know... but after free flowing cocktails of friday night that is about par for the rest of the weekend!
