what i am thinking..... (warning could possibly damage your good mood)

• why in the world is this rash back onto my baby?  better yet, you are a doctor's office, you open at 8:30, really?  if you make me drag my three babies back to you ONE more time (4 times in 2 weeks) and send me home saying "they are good, no candidate for any type medicine" i will kill someone there, hopefully you are not the lucky soul who gets to see me us... fyi i am NOT a worrying mom for those who don't know me....but i would like to know why my 8 month old resembles a dalmation again today?
• dear pet stop company,  the underground fence isn't working, i normally wouldn't care if my dogs roam but its the matter of fact in me, the stubborn-ness (i will win this battle) i have turned up the juice and feel quite sure it should have killed the brown dog but he still trots right over....  i know maggie enjoys his company up the street...... but he MUST follow the rules....stay in YOUR own yard and attack anyone who gets close... we are 50/50 on that!
• dear dad, if you go to the lake i need you to snag the dog canvas, church print, and cow framed print in my room (should be able to see them somewhere in there?) thanks, I will call you later.  i am going to mix them on the wall in the study where the mirror was and if i have to look at that blank wall another week, well....something will happen...probably  nothing but me wishing something was there...
• why is my lil' lamb fussing.... my monkey is showering with his daddy?  dear daddyo, can you not throw the baby in too??  the hornet is still working on breakfast and a side of Dora
• dear katie, i hope you had fun, really i do.  i will call you in a little while, but incase i forget.... ballard has some adorable things:  antique scale hooks (i need these, look when you go), these dog pillows (that would look great in hornet's room), alphabet ornaments (so freakn' cute, but wouldn't fit our tree i don't think, but maybe a playroom tree?), planked wood headboard (coulda, woulda, SHOULDA), good new bold graphic fabrics this time.... too many things i NEED!!
• to the makers of ANY of my lil' hornet's pajamas, do you NOT come in short sleeve and shorts for the winter too?  if i have to listen to this baby scream about his jammies ONE MORE time.... i will head out to find you myself- in the mean time, i will go try and find shorts and a short sleeve shirt.
• dear maker of the smocked turkey shirt i have just put on my biggest baby, thank you! you look so cute!
• to the sleeping porch in coastal living? to my architect? where is MY sleeping porch, please come to my house, i need a bunk room that is that cute too (i may then invite all the babysitters to come for a WEEK)
• oh and to all you lucky beach house owners..... you HAVE to buy the le creuset lobster pot in cherry red.... or i may have too???  and the coral branch bowl and the silicone fish spatula with the offset handle.... i want a beach place just so i can buy these things to look cute in the kitchen.
• please someone i know call me and tell me you need some tall shutters, to add pleated fabric of MY choice and chicken wire to add some warmth and life to a little boys room, kitchen, etc.  mom don't roll over it will hurt your back BUT....aren't you wishing you didn't give hannah home the piece of furniture we could have done this too. wow, that sounds awful, just a joke hannah home!
• to the cow print in the traditional home, cottage style house....  santa can't make everything, wrap up and come my way please!
• to the playroom at the club, GOOD LUCK with my smallest babies this morning, you will need it!  see you at 9!
• to my biggest babies teachers, do something fun today, take care of my first born like he was your own...
• dear monkey, try to be nice to everyone (thats all i ask) remember what we talked about.... you don't have to "win" every time, be a good sport and please please include the other little boy as best you can..... you are ONLY 4 and shouldn't be gang bangn' this way.... INCLUDE EVERYONE sweet angel! don't talk too much about disney on ice. remember everyone is NOT going and it may hurt some kids feelings.  Oh and sorry we don't have bread for your lunch... i will make something else equally yummy, but i do know how you love a turkey sandwich with no crust. you can blame me... no your right, lets just blame daddy, surely he is linked somehow to why i didn't get to the grocery store. 
• dear time change.  DO NOT mess with my kids schedule (lack there of) or just keep them their happy self!
• dear lolly, see you soon, you are doing GREAT!! sorry for the stampede of my family this weekend, just when you call them well behaved they come in and take your napkin rings apart to play rooster and chicken and lose them outside, ride their truck through your yard, jump on the bed you are lying in, twirl you around in your swivel chair, run up and down the stairs and through the house, pull almost everything out of your pantry, toy baskets, sandbox, bring the woods into YOU!!  but all while screaming in delight that they laid eyes on you.... And what would you do without our monkey to remind you "to put your bunny slippers back on, both feet" oh and to carry your fruit platter back to the kitchen!!!
• dear advisory council meeting,  i am thinking of NOT showing tomorrow, its really NOT my fault you can't come to grips with the budget, tuition cost going UP, etc.  sorry you are all being difficult and making us all come back.  Its not a concern for me and i am thinking of going to paint my mom's toenails and make chex mix over there tomorrow... i will keep you posted.  oh and if i do come, i need a nursery for these lil' indians. thanks!

updates on mom:

i don't really have much to say, we have turned a corner, she is on the comeback!  walking slowly but surely from room to room, smiling, chitty chatting, and seems to have more of herself back.  I know she would enjoy a "normal" shower and hair drying.... we will work on this today or tomorrow when sue gets here.  she just didn't expect this long of a recovery so it had her down but we are going to be fine and she is okay with this now.  Pray for strength to get through this, get through radiation, and get back to mom's "new" normal of only days down at UAB for endless hours at a time which she never complains about..... leave it to me. wink wink.
