About 36 miles away from our happy home is a CAVE... Apparently one of the largest caves in the US, next largest being in Italy, is that right Daddyc? I was half listening to the tour guide, wink wink, i must have had THREE little distractions.... Anyway, the cave "people" turned it into a light show for Christmas and told THE Christmas story of Jesus' birth. It was very neat and the boys really enjoyed it! the only thing that would have made it better is if they could have climbed up each and every little rock in there but for some reason, they are trying to preserve this football field sized cave???
my middle baby loves to play golf.....and could have stayed here forever,,,,,,,
but MOST all four boys really loved shooting one another with canons..... there truly is nothing better than a canon ball fight!
and digging for gold in freezing water and sand ranks pretty high too!
and the five year old is being carried and the littlest lamb runs behind...... what a trooper?
we got back JUST in TIME for a Merry making shin dig at our happy home with lots of good friends! Perfect Ending.
And when my mom gave me these adorable little glasses.... i think intended for after dinner drinks?? is that right? i have a small feeling she DID NOT intend for Holiday jello shots but i have never used them or made jello shots and thought, what a perfect size... And i will add... i had NONE left over!!!!!
some came more festive than others.
And we had ourselves a merry little partay! Followed by Santa's workshop at our big daddy's house putting all kinds of things together.... And yet another Merry Christmas gathering last night....
The countdown is ON now, i can't wait to see the boys wake up in F I V E long days.......
we have one more dinner tomorrow night with Santa Claus himself. And did i mention our baby caroline is ONE YEAR OLD.... We are too proud of her and can't wait to celebrate and eat cake, who are we kidding though, her daddy gave her cake long ago.... but when is cake not fun??? Have yourself a great little monday, i am so so excited to have the boys home with me today.... For odd reason, it is liberating to NOT have anywhere you "have" to be and just be together. JOY!!!
