as summer comes to a close.... I can't help but find myself trying to BACK pedal as fast as i can..
- do i really have an angelic niece who is FIVE years OLD already?
- is this IT, the start to fall?
- is my first born, who does NO wrong, who is my biggest fan no dout (well its a toss up with a couple other rug rats) but he is WAY UP THERE, about to go to school and LEAVE HIS MAMA from 9 ALL THE WAY to 1:00 in the AFterNOON?
- will i make it without him around?
- will his brothers be lost without him? i will help you there. YES!!!! No question needed.
- i am mourning and missing already my sweaty, stinky boys running IN and then OUT, not shutting the door, catching bugs and bringing them in, refilling sippy up after sippy cup and searching for lost sippy cups, picnicing because we are just tired of pool food, night swims with daddyc and wine by the tennis courts while our boys Run WILD, sweating trying to enjoy the park, swimming endless days in a row, vacationing with nothing to get home to, finding all sorts of treasures in the washing machine (one day i will learn to check pockets) and attempting popsicles upside down or sideways...both ways get the job done....
Gosh, I am having a pity party for myself and the END of summer.... I know i have a couple weeks before preschool and mothers day out starts up again but i have just ordered MY BIGGEST BABY, He is STILL 4 for 8 more weeks, still a baby, still MY baby, still his grandparents first born BOY, his first pair of JEANS.....thats right blog followers...
My first born will be dressed in some jeans this years. sniff sniff.
That is if they are comfortable....
My mom always laughed, "me & my charlie bug LIKE to be COMFORTABLE...." if you knew my mom you can so hear her saying that... She loved charlie and she LOVED to be comfortable and didn't really give a flip about what it looked like, what you said or anything else..... And i will say, my first born got that trait for sure..... so here is to hoping they are comfortable or NOT so he will wear more of his elastic waist polka dot pants i had made for him to match his brothers....
ANd YES, incase you are wondering he is NOT too old for lace and tadding on his sunday dress clothes..... He may be the ONLY one in his sunday school class but he will STILL be in lace.... GIve me ONE MORE YEAR please!!!!! So a toast to me for sucking it up and getting him jeans....from a little boy source not true department store jeans but still jeans no-less....... and also some camo pants.....
our summer has been FULL of grocery store visits like this one....
What do you mean? there is PLENTY of room for groceries in that cart....Thank you buggy makers for that bottom rack, made JUST FOR ME!!!
i have had Tremendous help in the yard...no shirt, no shoes but darn good service!
And apparently we have been at the club/pool way too much, when we went yesterday they had the boys last year christmas card picture on a couple vases on display....
(I know, the table-scape is in great need of a makeover)
And here is that ghetto fabulous or not so much place where bradley and i took our little angels to play....eeeekkk!!! It was fun for them, but NO air, not too clean, and in a vaccant building.....i need say no more!
is that cleaner and a box of junk? right there on the gym floor in childs reach....Yep, you bettcha!
the rug rats were running around so fast, my little phone could not catch them so excuse the TERRIBLE photos.
so i have big boys now....summer is ALMOSt over. sniff sniff. we will have jeans in our closet. Oh. and we already know what "WE" want to be when we grow up....
"mama"
"yes, charlie"
"i have changed my mind... I KNOW what i want to be when i grow up"
"what sweetie, still a fireman?"
"no mama, i DID want to be a transformer (that is a robot that changes into a truck incase you are wondering)
but NOW, i want to be a COWBOY"
"that sounds great angel, i sure do LOVE cowboys"
So just like that we will be hosting a cowboy 5th birthday party.... we ordered our chaps and boots that fit.....stay tuned.
