this is IT... My final week of summer with my boys. Laugh now, because they only go to mothers day out 2 days for a mere 3 1/2 hours... I take them a little late and ALWAYS pick them up early in fear they may be one of the LAST little rascals LEFT.....
Anyway, our weekend flew by.... And we had one of our very favorite aunts in town from NOrth Carolina.... And as she normally does, she came bearing gifts for ALL SIX of her nieces and nephews.... BEACH BALLS of all shapes and sizes and when we blew them up you would have thought a superhero walked in.... The boys are one with a ball and so about 6 just was heaven. Thanks SUSU!
so we got to spend some time with susu, she even played monster with the boys and bumped her head (so sorry!)- its safe to say the kiddos can wear anyone out. We grilled out at our aunt emily's house on friday and took off for the lake on saturday..... We swam and swam some more, boated to our favorite pizza shack, tubed (i did NOT give in and let my littlest lamb of 18 months tube.....yet!! although he did ride the see do for the first time... he loved it!!! and cried when we made him get off), i remembered how fun it is to swim in flippers... thats right, big ole' blue flippers you strap to your feet (i feel for sure i looked good doing it, but didn't really care either. wink wink) GOod little weekend packed with fun-ness!!!!
oh and our little mama bird who is part of the family now....has baby birdies. So sweet! i will take their picture later when i get a minute.... i think we will be sad to see them leave us. We walk in and out our side door a MILLION times and day and speak to our "mama bird". Once a skittish BIRD, now a stone cold furry friend who is hard to make move, we have that effect on people and animals. I even hosed her down on a hot day last week... I think she either A. thanked me or B. was calling me ugly names in her head. Happy Monday!
