has NOT been brought to the ole' fun blog, turned family/scrapbook blog.... BUT... i can promise my A game has been brought juggling these boys and their "things" and just life in general.... Daddyc has made a company change, not a job change exactly but new venue for which he works......so far so good. Change is always good and this one fits the mold!
I have not taken a single picture with a camera... a phone but no camera!!! so here is a rough outline of our past 10 days.....
since santa brought a BIG trampoline to our big daddy's house we have been mildly OBSESSED with jumping.... This is a dear neighbor who is ever so kind to let them jump....almost daily.
And while we are there, we shoot some hoops, or TRY. My 2 year old is in LOVE with "big" basset ball goals"... And is giddy when we drive by a house that has one. bless!!!!
we have spent some time at the gym.... doing gymnastics or playing, whatever!!! My middle baby decided to have his next SUPERHERO birthday party here too...... along with his best girl, i mean double exciting!!
we attended our very first, maybe last strawberry shortcake birthday party, sweet as expected!
And EVERY night we do this....
we have been to puppet shows....
i had to try and snap this quick, which is hard with a phone to do but i thought it was so sweet!
And i have been back to the biggest baby's school making some rockets out of fruit- Fun, NOT cute! look at all these boys....
we have crashed our local pizza joint and used our piggy bank savings on games....
Have attracted the most adorable fan club at our saturday basketball games......
luckily i saved our drawn heros from last year, don't know why but glad i did BUT...this year i had to add some girl heros to the mix..... Forgive them for i can NOT do faces and i just hope they don't scare the kids. AND OH MY, have you had this spread below..... we are on jar 3 in just a couple weeks.....good stuff. and if it LOOKS like peanut butter, does that mean it is good for you, kinda?????? humor me here for the truth hurts.
i have been on some dates with the one i love the most..... quite a few actually! Good times.
we had ANOTHER long weekend... really school system???? LOTS of Q.T. and lucky for us Neil, the icecream man drove by, appears to be early, we are all still in jammies......
if you are wondering how my herd gets out the door...here you go.... the boys sit on this stoop while i shove socks and the chosen shoes/boots on.....silly faces and twisting about is a MUST, for sure adds an element. yay me! could they do this all my themself? Sure. i am sure they COULD. but my 6 year old could probably dress himself too, no such luck, we like mom, thats me, to do EVERYTHING.......
And we actually didn't even have to place these angels here.... When you ask the boys what we did they reply, went to see our babies. Darn for not having more car seats or i'd steal them more than often....
The boots were for sure made for "stomping" and boot-scoot-boogie down the street. ADORABLE!!!
A MUST is stamps ALL over if one has JUST had a bath...whatever!!!! we get creative in carpool line
And yes we did. It is rainy so the little boys and i decided to create their valentines.... Reese pieces will be fine, but we thought gold fish may not been so hot tasting in a couple weeks, so we will wait to fill those bags!!!!
Q: Hey Charlie, what kind of Valentines cards would you like to give your buddies? And would you want to take everyone a balloon, the little boys are taking balloons with their cards?
A: (a confused, kind of cant' believe i ask voice) um, mom, i dont' think we do those anymore and NO, NO NO balloons please.
reply: well, thats ashame because Valentines day is so fun!!!! We will ALWAYS do Valentines at home
And while in carpool reading the new southern living..... i loved the talk with lela rose, texas designer,
"what makes southern women?"
"we are glamorous but NOT prissy. We grow up close to ranches, hunting, and farms and as a result we are CAN DO girls. Anything that comes our way we reply, "sure i can handle that" And we look pretty good doing it."
*so true, maybe my lent give up should be saying YES to anyone AND i'm off to a great start... earlier this week i was ask to head up the whole churches vacation bible school week........ And for the near first time, i said NO......well, your right, i said "oh. i'll think about it"and left that alone. phew! safe til next obligation.
HOpe you and yours have been enjoying this January.
