and i have nothing creative to report..... My boys have done countless of funny things, said appropriate funnies and UN-appropriate things, we conquered Santa but have NOT mailed the list, some changes were swayed for one list, NOW not needed to omit but we don't want to reveal to surprise.... We have sung in "BIG" church way too many times a lot and love doing it! We divided and conquered the church musical, The biggest and middle baby made us all proud once again and the wee little baby declared as he crawled into bed "and mama, when i get big i want to sing too!" And "yes, next year love; i will be front row watching and waving as YOU get to sing too"...... Being 2 is hard. being two is esp. hard when you think you are six or three at the YOUNGEST but your mom makes you go to the "Baby class" instead of the bigger class for mothers day out, sunday school, and the LEAGUE won't let you play basketball with the other SIX year olds...etc. LIFE IS NOT FAIR when you are TWO!!!
we had to divide and conquer to attend christmas ginger bread making parties, gymnastics, and school one day.......All in all, a lot of team players have helped me out, we have been in the car more than out, we have baked a whole lotta unhealthy things, indulged in even MORE than that..... so no complaints... Happy always! MERRY EVERYTHING.
i got to go help make charlie's gingerbread house, it was great fun!!!he LOVES to draw, build houses so he really really enjoyed this.... he added some columns in the front, a sidewalk, gate, fire wood stacked up in the back..... very creative- and now anyone who comes to our happy home has to get a detailed review of what everything is on his gingerbread house. very proud!
snowman with tools given, ekkkk!! and a candy cane sled for the kids. wink wink
these two monkeys are NEVER far from a pair of jammies no matter what the time is.... Her mama baked some delicious gingerbread cookies that my boys LOVED. thank you kate x 3!!! These two are trouble with a capital T but play so well together and actually make keep each other out of trouble???.....
we started basketball and the dribbling of basketballs rings in my ears most all day now... thank you. And yes, we are in the south, some days coats and gloves and some days flip flops and some days BOTH!!And always a 4 wheeler rider.....
a little festive gathering for some old friends who i'm sad to say we see sometimes only once or twice a year.... most more but still some not nearly enough....
the boys love their uncle wade and dive at his phone and/or lap at the first chance, he seems to have some tips for their gaming needs....
santa claus was good all the way until it was OUR turn THEN...he almost kidnapped whitmore and took him home so daddy had to walk him back to make sure everything was okay.........it was!!!! phew!!!
these two littlest of our monkeys declared that the LIST is enough, that and being good.... there really is NO NEED to snuggle with that big scary guy, they will take their candy canes and be DONE!!!!
The elves workshop is ALWAYS A HIT and lucky for ME, we take home all kinds of trinkets and beautiful ornaments for the tree.....
we have had many a fire lately- brrrr!!!
baked a whole lotta yummy treats, almost polished them off before sharing them.... don't worry the naked boy in the back didn't get too close.....
this sweet angel is part of my middle baby's fan club..... she loves him.
she is a doll, isn't she? we think we'll keep her!
joseph and the inn keeper
look at the little lambs singing.... how can you NOT LOVE to watch a child sing? and wave and dance and sing off key? it is truly a wonderful thing.
the stable had never seen such a wrecking crew and i didn't put two and two together until i saw "THIS" bunch ON stage IN that stable together, my heart skipped a beat and besides a little hay throwing, they faired pretty well and i was proud of each and everyone of them.....
charlie was super excited his cousin was there and dead sprinted to find her for cookies and punch afterwards!!!!
i hope you and yours and the others are enjoying the season...shopping like mad, enjoying party after party, loving a warm fire, afternoon coffee to warm you up, indulging in all sorts of treats, but MOST OF ALL i hope you get to watch some children sing......
