rain, rain...

it is okay to stay....
but only for a day.
when it rains, we almost don't know what to do.... but today, "we" decided to get out our "clubhouse" or "fort" to others.... and to blow up our "ball" pool!!!!
and when your class is talking about INDIANS... you pull out your older brothers 4k homemade indian costume and sport it to school.  Perfect!!!!

how cute is this "club" house.... while i would leave it up ALL the time, i end up in hives a couple weeks into this being up... i apparently birthed a true live PACK RAT, or cluttery boy anyway.... My oldest baby likes to pile a whole lotta things in the clubhouse (is that "playing"? am i being crazy?... answer is YES!) so usually after a couple weeks of clubhouse "MESS" i take it down and store it away... mean, i know!!!! but we are hardly inside anyway so it only makes sense, right??

And our aunt emily gave us or one of us a ball collection, actually it was a birthday gift for my biggest baby when he turned TWO!!!!  we still really enjoy it when its out, it too makes me sweat over the MANY places the balls end up so it goes away after a couple good solid weeks of play... and by play i mean, pelt one another as hard as we can... and laugh til it hurts!!!!

and because i had the camera in the playroom.  we have been building many oh different train tracks!  My littlest lamb is into building the tracks and playing with the trains too... My middle baby, well, he LOVES to take them apart.... YAY!!!! let me say... it is not always a good combination.
and just because... The kitchen Santa brought us... well, it sits in the playroom awaiting my neices to come over and play... And it is always ready, the frige is stocked with cold things, the freezer is stocked with ice cream, the cabinets are housing plates, pans, pots, pot holders, dish towels, and the utensils...and the oven is holding cookie dough, icing for the cookies, baking sheets and you know the baking goods needed.... THIS NEVER even gets a second glance but YES, the anwser is YES... I am so glad i snagged this from my old church growing up and our big daddy "restored it" and i Santa stocked it full...
and equally glad Santa brought us the grocery store, while it does not get played with.... one day it might????  And how cute!!!!  And i finially after a full year folding the adorable ironing board and iron and put them away, and put up the vaccum cleaner that REALLY works... YES, i went domestic.... I never knew if i had any off spring who would enjoy cooking and playing house...NOW, I KNOW i have NO CHILDREN who enjoy playing grocery store, kitchen, house......... DAMMIT!!!!!  I still like it, i will NEVER get rid of it and in about 5 years it will find its way to my attic......  yes, maybe my mom got rid of my kitchen and grocery store too early?????  wink wink.
what we DO LOVE, uuuhhh, is legos-  My biggest baby ask for legos for his 6th birthday and so he was gifted....LEGOS.... and i was a lucky soul who got to put them together....I'm not sure lucky is really a good word to use there????  We set up a card table and yes, we tableclothed it... who can look at a card table day in and day out... NOT ME!!!!!
i DO LOVE the detailing of these lego sets.... How cute is the lawnmower and flowers in the yard???
this is the airport control tower and the actual airport has a revolving door and way too many adorable features....
and every pilot should have some coffee before take off, right? the offices have a little filtered water system by the coffee pot, i mean, too much lego people, so cute!!!  i almost get "MAD" when we
he disassembles them on purpose... then i catch myself, it is a child's toy, my first born's toy, it is OK for him to play with them. rinse and repeat as needed.

Two boys had school, the other and i went out to play and this above is how we spent the hour before going to carpool for my biggest baby.......what did you do on your rainy day??
