me and my plus one took off early friday for a ginormous amount of fun with friends in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. We settled into the bEau rivage hotel and casino early afternoon and made ourselves at home...... This was a first visit for me not for others, wink wink. I have to say i was impressed- Not that i don't give mississippi casinos much credit but was not expecting the beau to be what it was. We rolled in town for a wedding for a good friend and could not have had more fun.
Mimi & Big Daddy tag teamed our brood and faired pretty well seems like.
Overall i think i will go back to the Beau, um..... sooner than later???
no cameras allowed in the casino, i learned this the hard way in Vegas! And also learned if there is a casino, there is ALWAYS a jewelry venue close by....
i didn't take pictures friday night. We had a long southern dinner at some famous place (have no clue what the name of it is, sorry!) And then retreated to our gathering in town party.... At an old gas station, very neat and very fun!!!!
the next morning, i was delivered breakfast in bed.... I mean.... spoiled rotten i am!!!! Daddyc took off with some fellas to play some golf EARLY and i would be lying if i said i didn't LOVE EVERY SINGLE MINUTE Of my quiet relaxing morning IN BED...... I had complete knowledge of what was coming around lunch time...... Drinks, Pool, Sun, Sweat, Spa time, Casino, and a most fabulous wedding to attend!!!!!
i enjoyed my gulf view from my bed.
the wedding was VERY old south, the tree was the "symbol" of the events- It had a fun New Orleansy feel, trumpets playing, servers everywhere, drinking flowing from all sides, sunset on the water, the best darn seafood i have ever put in my mouth....
And i mean... LOVERS LANE was the address. It was her grandmother's home compound and goes way back and deep in the family.... Um, Yes Please, i will move right in.
these crazy cats were our running crew....
luckily one of them was so darn strong we felt safe.
Apparently the Beau is bringing BACK jello shots and thought the pool goers would enjoy. We did!!!
we had little flags to raise when we needed service.... I could REALLY get use to that!
Oh. Have i mentioned how grateful we are for our grandmother and our grandfather who graciously shuffled our boys around, got them to t'ball and kept them alive (which is easier said than done, BELIEVE me!) while we were away showing off our wilder redneck side- WOO HOOO! We can't wait to do it again but are so glad to be back in our happy home with all these stinky little boys. Thank Heaven for little boys!!!
