4 score & 100 DAYS....

of school that is.   

My biggest baby's class was asked to dress like they were 100 for the 100th day of school.... being out of town, i kinda forgot and lucky for me i didn't glance at my calendar ALL week long so i was THAT MOM.... That LAST MINUTE mom that was scrambling, well... HALF scrambling to pull an outfit together.... we faired pretty well i think??

we don't really have anything "old-ish" or anything besides jeans with belt loops, or a belt for that matter (note to self: we are going to need a baseball belt by TOMORROW)  so we went with dressy pants, a little dress coat, an ORANGE & BLUE tie of course from daddy, done & DONE....  we don't even have dress shoes that fit us, i just donated our old ones and are now to dressy sandals and those wouldn't cut it so...... he chose FLIP FLOPS....

one "together" mama had some white hair spray for the class.... No, my pretty boy wasn't about to cover his locks with hard sticky stuff...... Who said i don't have a little girl?  only kidding monkey. i actually am always proud when my children do something DIFFERENT than the crowd, i like that this child of mine doesn't care what his buddies are wearing, doing, or saying.... he beats to his own drum and truth be told i like to say its an "old man" drum, wink wink.

 no, we did NOT chose to put on shoes to walk over.... suited me just fine- we live in Alabama, its our stereotype anyway, i like to play into that....This little angel is waiting patiently for Miss Linda to get off the phone so that he may sneak some chocolate from her.... he is a smart little HUNGRY boy!!

 on the way home my middle baby said "hey, mom... Do you think i am a STRONG gentleman?"  And the answer was OF COURSE, the strongest man i know"   i was just glad he picked up the hoe to bring it out of the neighbors yard, they are equally glad i feel for sure!!! (its only been there a month or more) Have i mentioned how much i LOVE LOVE our neighbors and how their yard is our yard and so on and so forth........
