but give us time to be better than ever.... i think "wiped" out is a good word for all of us.... i can HONESTLY say i am glad i am not in on the boys New Orleans trip this coming weekend.... Daddyc on the other hand is more than pumped. I secretly think its so cute when boys get so excited about hanging out together. so, not to lose focus..... We had a fantabulous 4th! we were lakeside with family. we all missed my mom more than ever...we burnt our ribs, who knew 4 hours was too long on the grill???? (in our defense, we did them two weeks earlier and they were mouth watering???) but all in all it was perfect that we could be together and share good times in bad times. Of course i took pictures.... enjoy!
i had to take this one... my boys are really LoVinG each other's company, sure they tackle, hit, push and scream and go back running for more of each other.... they tell me its just "boys" so i depend highly on that advice and usually just let them be.... When one is gone from the mix, its non-stop questioning "when will he be back?" they love each other so much and greet one another with hugs and kisses (which i know has a time clock with age) and as a mom it melts my heart.
my mom's baby sister and her family joined us at the lake too. Good times!
we played ball....we played a LOT OF BALL!!!
two swam....ONE ate...the whole time....
And i am just glad they don't climb on things...phew! or i would indeed have my hands full.
this place is my saving GRACE.... i love this little store! we visit often when in town and they ALWAYS have everything we need.... from salt, sunglasses, milk, to hunting supplies....Jim has it!
this time i needed sunglasses, candy for 4 boys, wiffle balls when we lost ours in the woods, and milk. check.
and on a sweeter, softer, most loving side.... This angel was well.... an angel! Safe to say we all loved having her to love on and she just may be the best baby EVER!!!!
no other than the birthday boy himself.... Baylor, my chocolate lab, turned 10 on July 5th.... why we didn't do much in the celebrating sense, he doesn't mind, he doesn't like a lotta hoopla around him.... Stick to routine and don't get too crazy.... it just makes him nervous! he likes to supervise the boys swimming and is a total nervous wreck when they go under.

everybody LOVES big daddy....and fights for his attention and lap at all times....
uncle chris does things EARLY in the morning that NO ONE will do.... in a good spirit anyway...blow bubbles... Push in a stroller! thank you x 4!
i caved in and let my biggest baby jump off chimney rock...eeeekkk!! he was super excited and didn't get hurt so all is well.... i just can't believe he is that big already....
he had a good "support" system
who was probably equally excited to be jumping
and AGAIN...and again...
some of us relaxed a wee bit more than others...
and we discovered another rock to jump off of.... this IS what its come to... what is high enough to climb and JUMP off of without getting hurt? Must test the limits.
but this rock had a cool slide. bonus.
who says 15 months is too young? ME, his mama...but i caved and let him slide and climb and jump too...
