this & that

THIS is what my 2 year old has been doing ANYTIME we are at home.... WITH or WITHout me knowing.....

reverse is proving tricky to handle.... luckily he has another solution for that...

always look on the OTHER side of the fence when looking for your children....

 why are clothes needed?
Edible dimples in my baby's shoulder blades..... who knows?
 worms anyone?

he gets his love for dogs very honest.....
Daddyc reminded me while out last night,
"when Amy and I met, she and her dog were a package deal-
must love her dog!"
and i can remember hearing my mom say to a friend
"i pray daily that nothing happens to Amy's dog, she just may drop out of college"
and yes, dear readers, i love my dog(S)... and yes, they too make me want to pull my hair out sometimes but lucky for me they shed enough to replace mine......
and on another note.  How stinkn' cute is our baby caroline... we got to enjoy her for a day!!!

i have a date with my plus one tonight and then off to the beach again.... miss us while we are gone!

a birthday trip

Daddyc's aunt susan, OUR aunt Susu, came in town for HER 50th birthday, now that is just out of order, we should have been traveling to see her....but.... we have quite the crew and it seemed easier for susu to come here to be with us.  We wouldn't ever MISS her birthday celebration, esp. a big one like this....

My biggest baby worked so hard and creating the "perfect" gift for his aunt susu....
Hit brothers and any friends who chose to mess with the little pink box.... It wasn't much but i can assure you it was filled to the brim with thoughts and love..... we love our aunt susu!!!!

i am NOT the family photographer, but my sister in law IS... what happened? why is the only birthday picture i got of susu FUZZY?  hopefully she caught a better one.... we only celebrated for 2 straight days and ate lunches and dinners, both fancy withOUT kids and poolside with kids...... I think i enjoyed our fancy meal all dressed up if we are voting and by the looks of the picture below, you can probably figure out why....
Dear Peggy Post,
while i used to say "i can explain"
I really can't explain anymore....
where have i gone wrong?

and to be fair... We have TWO other recent birthdays in our happy home... One dog turned 11 years old and the black one turned 8 years old.... While they didn't have a big throw down, they did receive a treat and new collar.... Can you see the excitement?

we really have NO love for our dogs, can you tell?  and this was just telling them bye as we left for the pool....

And just to be random... I had this princess today.... pure joy.

And reason #1 why i have not seen my better half in a couple nights.....  We he felt the need to PURCHASE dvds of the old Auburn Games, i believe "we" HE and a sprinkle of still awake little boys are cued in RIGHT NOW.....   It is a little fuzzy, who wins? oregon or the AU tigers.....
NO, it is NOT a joke, we own this.... i have nothing more to say.  We BOUGHT the Auburn season dvds.... (in his defense, kinda.... he may not have been able to "clearly" see the field for the amount of adult beverages he consumed while out there cheering us on..... Me, oh i was in the snow or on the trek HOME with babies in tow from snow skiing, we HE is just glad we didn't lose power while he celebrated the win! wink wink)
thats all i got.

destined for GREATNESS

"A child reminds us that playtime is an essential part of our daily routine."

"a boy is truth with dirt on his face, beauty with a cut on his finger, wisdom with bubble gum in his hair, and HOPE of the future with a frog in his pocket"

we have enjoyed our week in town.... with "big" mommy & daddy friends at fancy dinners (and bars, shhhh!) and with smaller friends sweating in the summer sun, with playgrounds, sprinklers, slip 'n' slides, popsicles, 4 wheelers, trucks, balls.... Can we be kids again?  Yes, sometimes we CAN!!!
my biggest baby is UNDERNEATH this large branch?? who knows!
luckily we had wonder woman to save him, wink wink.

i got this picture above while running errands,  see i knew daddyc knew EXACTLY where my biggest baby was.... enjoying popsicles INSIDE my neighbors house, ON THE SOFA....  brave soul!!
then when i arrived home i sent daddyc to retrieve him and force him home, ha.
"charlie, did you have fun playing with the weathers?"
"sure did mom.  And i also loved playing with Addy (our 60+ year old neighbor, sweetest lady on plant Earth)"
oh. and just a tid-bit of info. we ending up finding him across the street playing with his buddy will..... Musical Homes for 3 please!
summertime and living is easy....
we have a lot going on this week, hopefully i will be back sooner than later and even DEBATE with myself about jumping on the facebook train????  should i stay or should i go now?
